CHS launches augmented reality filters as agency debut for Purplebricks

Purplebricks explore AR with CHS

Full-service creative agency CHS, have created and launched a branded augmented reality (AR) filter in its agency debut for Purplebricks.

CHS were appointed by Purplebricks following a competitive pitch to help amplify the brand’s #HomeSupport campaign, which launches following the estate agent’s confirmed sponsorship of Team GB at the 2021 Olympic Games.

The campaign, which aims to bring the power of the nation’s home support to Team GB, has involved the commission of three athletes turned artists, each chosen due to their past or present roles as elite olympians, paralympians and sporting heroes.

Amongst the enlisted artists is Rio 2016 silver medallist and professional boxer Joe Joyce, professional triathlete Vanessa Raw and former rugby player, Henry Fraser – who now paints using his mouth after a tragic accident left him paralysed from the neck down.

Each artist has created a powerful image that depicts what ‘Home Support’ means for them, the works of which have now inspired the #HomeSupport filters designed by CHS.

The creation of the filters will also be integral to a wider social campaign. Amplifying the #HomeSupport message through the production of an online still and video series concepted and designed by CHS.

Chris Southgate, Managing Director at CHS Agency, said: “It’s a tremendous privilege to not just work with Purplebricks, but to support them on such an incredible campaign.

“In a year when so many of us will be cheering on Team GB from thousands of miles away, this gives fans across the world the chance to cheer on our national heroes.”

Following the sneak peek promoted by team GB athletes at the Kitting Out ceremony, CHS’s #HomeSupport filters have now been released onto Purplebricks Facebook and Instagram pages – ready for anyone seeking a more immersive way to support the country’s athletes.
