In 2019, HSBC launched their brand-new Rewards Credit Card. And, following a successful pitch, CHS were asked to help develop a launch campaign.
Using the same visual style seen in the award-winning above-the-line brand campaign “We are not an island”, we developed the campaign wrapper of “It’s payback time” – a punchy, attention-grabbing line, which turns the normal meaning of the phrase on its head.
From this, we created assets for VOD, YouTube, online display and paid social, to help drive awareness and conversions amongst existing customers.
The launch gained millions of views in just a few weeks and was shortlisted at the CIM Marketing Excellence Awards 2020 in two categories.
